1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to Easy PDF Reader Launcher (the "Application"). By using the Application, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use the Application, we may collect or process device information, app interaction data, diagnostic data, crash logs, app performance data, advertising identifiers, network status, storage-related information where supported, and settings related to document scanning, reading, editing, conversion, sharing, printing, or file management.

The Application may process document files, images, or text that you choose to open, scan, import, edit, convert, lock, unlock, share, or print. This processing is intended only to provide the document feature you select.

If you contact us directly, we may receive your email address and the information included in your message.

3. How Information Is Used

Information may be used to provide and maintain document scanning, PDF reading, document editing, conversion, preview, printing, sharing, file organization, launcher-related controls, app performance improvements, troubleshooting, analytics, advertising, attribution, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

Document content is processed only to provide the feature you choose to use. The Application is not intended to access unrelated files or use document content for unrelated purposes.

4. Permissions and Device Access

The Application may request certain permissions depending on device type, operating system version, and the features you use. Based on the reviewed Android App Bundle, the Application may request the following permissions and device capabilities.

  • Camera: may be used when you choose to scan a document or create a PDF from an image. Camera access is not required to read existing documents.
  • Photos, media, and file access: may be used to open, import, scan, create, save, edit, convert, share, print, lock, unlock, or organize documents and supported files that you select.
  • Manage all files access: may be used on supported Android versions to help locate, organize, clean, or manage local document files where you choose to use those features.
  • Overlay or display over other apps: may be used for supported quick-access or launcher-related controls where allowed by Android.
  • Notifications and cloud messaging: may be used to provide service notices, document-related updates, or feature status messages where supported.
  • Network, Wi-Fi state, and Internet access: used to load online services, ads, analytics, crash reporting, updates, attribution, or support features.
  • Phone state or basic phone state: may be used for compatibility, diagnostics, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, or service optimization. The Application does not use this access to read call audio, text messages, contacts, or personal conversations.

5. Third-Party Services

The Application may use third-party providers for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, install attribution, cloud messaging, platform support, and related online services. These providers may process limited information according to their own privacy policies.

Third-party services may include Google Play Services, Firebase services, Google advertising services, analytics and crash reporting services, install attribution services, and advertising mediation partners depending on the app version and distribution channel.

6. Opt-Out Rights

You can stop information collection by uninstalling the Application. You may also manage permissions such as camera, photos and files, notifications, storage, phone state, usage access, overlay access, and related permissions through your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit scanning, document creation, file management, or other related features.

7. Ads and Analytics

The Application may be supported by ads and may use analytics tools to understand app performance, measure engagement, diagnose technical issues, prevent fraud, and improve user experience. Advertising services may use device identifiers, Advertising ID, Android AdServices signals, install referrer data, or related technical data where permitted by law and platform settings.

You can delete local app data by clearing the Application's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the Application. Third-party providers may retain analytics, advertising, crash, attribution, or diagnostic data according to their own policies and legal obligations.
